Terms
Draft for a lawyer to check. Not final, and not yet an agreement with any school. Everything in square brackets is not decided.
Who provides the service
Cerisean, [legal form], of [registered address], provides Cerisean Timetables.
- "We" means Cerisean. "The school" means the school or trust that uses Cerisean Timetables.
- These terms apply from the day a school starts a trial or a plan.
- The person who accepts them must be allowed to act for the school.
The school's account
The school decides who uses its account, and answers for them.
- The School admin decides who can sign in to the school, and with which role
- Each person keeps their sign-in to themselves
- The school is responsible for what is done by the people it lets in
- When a member of staff leaves, the school marks them as leaving or removes them, so they can no longer sign in
The school's staff and their data
The school decides what it enters about its staff; we only use it to run the service.
- The school enters names, mobile numbers, absences, leave and substitutions, and tells its staff these are stored. The privacy page lists everything.
- We use the school's data only to run Cerisean Timetables for the school
- We do not sell it, and we show no advertising
- No student data is needed; the school does not enter any student's name or details
Acceptable use
The school and its staff do not use Cerisean Timetables to:
- break the law, or help anyone break it
- see or change another school's data
- test, overload or attack the service, or get round its security
- copy the app, or sell access to it
- write anything about a person that is false, abusive, or more private than the school needs
We may suspend an account used this way, and tell the School admin why and how to put it right. [Notice before a suspension]

The school's data, and deleting it
The school's data belongs to the school.
- Any timetable can be printed, and the published one downloaded as a CSV file, at any time
- When the School admin asks, we delete the school and everything it holds. [Within how many days] [How long copies stay in backups]

- [Losses we are not liable for]
- [What the law does not let us limit]
